The mission of the Facilities Division of OPM is to provide Class A facilities management services for District government facilities.
Responsibilities include:

day-to-day management and operation of city-wide contracts

building management and operation
-
maintenance services
-
engineering
-
janitorial and landscaping
-
postal services
-
various repairs and non-structural improvements
The Facilities Division also provides maintenance and support for District homeless shelters.
Contract Support Team
The Contract Support Team of the Facilities Division provides various types of contractual services for construction, maintenance, alterations and repair of District owned or leased facilities.
Contractual services include:

heating and air conditioning equipment

elevators and escalators
-
emergency generators
-
fire alarm systems
-
automated control systems
-
janitorial and landscaping

various build out and renovation projects
